iChamp β running and race walking
Client
The client had a clear purpose and vision for the development of the iChamp application. The primary reason for developing this app was to provide users with a powerful fitness tracking and motivation tool.
The client wanted to create a platform that could seamlessly receive data from sensors in mobile devices and convert it into meaningful information such as 'steps and distance.'

Concept
iChamp - mobile application for Jogging and Race-walking contests holding.
The purpose of developing the iChamp application was to create a comprehensive fitness tracking solution that leveraged mobile device sensors, offered advanced data processing capabilities, and provided a seamless user experience across different platforms.

Advantages
- π Track steps and distance using mobile device sensors.
- π Take part in running and race-walking challenges.
- π± Use the app on Android and iOS, including activity tracking with the screen locked.
Technologies
The project combines an Android and iOS application, a web administration panel and separate APIs for authentication, administration and activity data.
- Mobile application: React Native, React and TypeScript, with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query for state and API access.
- Activity tracking: mobile device sensors, Apple HealthKit and Google Fit integrations, with background activity services.
- Administration panel: React, JavaScript, Vite and Tailwind CSS, with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query.
- Backend: PHP, Symfony and API Platform, with Doctrine ORM across the authentication, administration and data APIs.
- Activity data: MongoDB and Doctrine MongoDB ODM store activity records and daily summaries.

Result
We implemented the second version of the application with the ability to receive data from the sensors of mobile devices and convert this data into 'steps and distance.' An advanced architecture that accepts and processes large volumes of data has been thought through.
The application was developed for Android and iOS. In addition to working during an active session, iChamp also worked on the lock screen.

The existing product screens include illustrative names, figures and placeholder text.
Sports and activity tracking app development: iChamp
Mobile tools for running, race walking and activity tracking.
Mobile experiences for running and race walking
iChamp focuses on running, race walking and activity tracking. A sports application needs to make its main activity easy to start and the resulting information easy to revisit. The project screens provide a visual reference for this mobile product.
Defining a sports application
Before development, identify the activities the application supports and the information participants need before, during and after a session. Define the role of activity history and the devices involved. This creates a concrete basis for discussing mobile interactions without assuming every sports product needs the same feature set.
