Profter β Professional Equipment E-commerce
An online store for tradespeople and construction companies: discover painting, finishing and cleaning equipment, inspect product specifications and browse on a phone.
Project Goal
Make a broad equipment catalogue easier to explore and connect product selection with the information customers need before ordering: specifications, availability, delivery and service.
Solution and Architecture
A responsive Next.js storefront communicates with a Magento commerce backend through GraphQL. Categories and product pages organise the assortment, while customer account modules cover favourites, comparison and order history. A separate React administration client contains catalogue, order and website content management interfaces. This case presents the public storefront; account and administration workflows are documented from source and were not tested with production access.
Inside Profter
Real screens captured from profter.com.ua: the home page, painting equipment catalogue, a product detail page and its responsive mobile web version.

Illustrative screens use public catalogue data from profter.com.ua, captured on 10 October 2026. Names, prices and availability reflect that snapshot. No fictional customer records or production database were copied. Account access, administration, checkout, payments and delivery integrations were not exercised. Generated cover artwork is separate from the documentary screenshots.
Advantages
- π οΈ Browse by equipment type β categories give tradespeople a practical starting point.
- π Narrow the selection β categories and sorting support product discovery.
- π Examine a product β photographs and specifications help assess the equipment.
- π± Continue on a phone β the storefront adapts to a smaller screen.
- π Find purchase information β delivery, payment and service pages are available from the storefront.
Technologies
Verified from source: Next.js 14, React 18, TypeScript and SCSS for the storefront; Magento Open Source 2.4.6 and PHP for commerce; GraphQL for storefront data. The separate administration application uses React 18, Vite 5, Redux Toolkit and Tailwind CSS.

Developing an online store for professional equipment
Profter (PROF): a professional equipment online store with a responsive Next.js storefront, Magento commerce backend and separate React administration client.
From a broad assortment to a useful product page
A tradesperson selecting a painting machine needs more than a product name. Equipment categories, sorting, photographs and technical attributes make the assortment easier to explore. Profter connects catalogue navigation with detailed product information for construction and finishing work.
A headless Magento architecture
The storefront and commerce backend have separate responsibilities. Next.js and React render the customer experience, while Magento supplies commerce data through GraphQL. A separate React client provides operational interfaces for products, orders and content. This structure supports different interfaces around the same commerce domain.
Responsive browsing and the verified scope
The case shows actual public pages on desktop and a phone-sized viewport. These captures verify the visible storefront layout and content. They do not establish completed purchases or a commercial uplift. For a similar project, catalogue attributes, customer journeys and operational integrations should be specified before implementation.
